It’s Graduation Season! After years of hard work and going through sleepless nights, the time has finally come to celebrate the end of a long journey, and the beginning of a new chapter in life. As throngs of students commemorate the end of their candidature in their institutions, these milestone moments are ones to be captured and remembered for the years to come.
To parents, congratulations! You, along with your children have weathered many storms to reach where you all are today, and it is definitely something that needs to be remembered. The fruits of your labour have finally flourished, and the investment of time, finances and effort put into their education has not been in vain.
Here are four reasons why you should have a graduation photoshoot:
Commemorate you and your children’s achievements
The long journey was definitely not a walk through the park. Think back to the number of times you’ve seen your children stressed out - having their sleep cycles completely disrupted due to burning the midnight oil, rushing for assignments, learning how to handle difficult situations and dealing with tough teammates. This has not solely been an academic journey, but your children have grown so much during their candidature. It is essential to capture their progress and achievements. It is a rite of passage for every final year student; signifying the end of one journey and the beginning of another.
Grand new family portrait
When was the last time your whole family managed to get a nice photo together? Take the opportunity to dress your best and take some new photos with your loved ones. The photos will do wonders to spruce up your living spaces as well.
Capture that priceless moment
A picture speaks way more than a thousand words - it encapsulates a treasured moment in time. Having a family photoshoot at that period of time truly reflects the joy and pride you feel for your children, and their own happiness at achieving their goals. This is truly a gift that would be meaningful and substantial to them. Having a graduation canvas to hang at home is such an honour, and something to definitely celebrate in the years to come.
You had a furry study companion
Was there a furry one that accompanied you through all the late night studies and was your comfort when you were stressed from all your examinations? Bring your furry friends, your pet doggies or cats to your graduation photoshoot too! There were alongside you in your journey after all.

They say, “a mother is like a flower - each one beautiful and unique”. These important women play such an important role in our lives. From being our personal doctors when we fall sick, to whipping up scrumptious meals to ensure we’re well fed - our beloved mothers take on various roles in their day-to-day lives to take good care of us. They are nothing short of being everyday superheroes, and with Mothers’ Day just around the corner, we wanted to express our gratitude to these incredible individuals, and appreciate all their efforts.
There is no fixed criteria for who a mother should be - mothers can be of all ages. Despite their status, age and experience, motherhood is a selfless, beautiful journey, and these strong individuals deserve to be appreciated everyday, not just on Mothers’ Day.
The moment a child is born, the mother is born...
The journey to be a mother is definitely not an easy one. The nine-month long process is filled with morning sickness, nausea, cravings, tiredness, mood swings and so much more. However, despite all the challenges, the thought of meeting your newborn makes everything worth it.
A fur baby is still a baby...
Having a pet is not too far off from having a baby - it poses its own challenges and comes with a lot of responsibility as well! Fur-mummies are dedicated individuals who shower their fur-kids with tender love and care. The role is nothing short of being an actual mother - to take in another being and to care for them selflessly is what makes them amazing. Kudos to all the fur-mummies and meow-mies for taking excellent care of your fur-kids!
Your love still lives on…
Mothers’ day may not be celebrations and joy for everyone. It might come with painful reminders for some. It hurts losing a child and we don’t want to assume to understand what it’s like. But we still want to make mention of you this day. Mummies with angel babies: it is okay to take time to heal, it is okay not being okay, it is okay to feel… You still love, you’re still brave and you’re strong.
There may be different types of mothers but your role is universal, and your love for your children is eternal. Happy Mothers’ Day to all you amazing women out there! Take the time to celebrate yourselves, and indulge in a little pampering session with your loved ones to commemorate this day.
If you're looking to have beautiful photos taken of your mummy too, remember to drop us a message and we'll explain the process to you!

Do you remember the very first time you brought your new furry friend home? The excitement you felt as you learnt how to feed them, give them a bath, and when they managed to learn new tricks in a jiffy?
Pets take up a special place in our homes, and an even special place in our hearts. As we grow together, we create everlasting, happy memories with them. What better way to immortalise those memories than through professionally-taken photographs? Here are 5 reasons why you should book that photoshoot.
1. Your pets are part of your family, and you are theirs.
The bond between a pet and their owner is strong and unique. They are always there at the end of the day to give you all the love and support you need, help you feel relaxed and happier after an arduous day at work. Photographing the precious connection between pets and their owners is one of our favourite things to do here at Momo Studio.
2. Pets facilitate better family bonding
In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it may be tough to take out some time for important family time. Pets can become the glue that brings the family together; from activities that revolve around them - such as a trip to the vet, feeding them together, or taking the pet out for a walk. All these activities require a strong sense of teamwork and cooperation, which in turn could strengthen the relationships within the family. What better way to capture that dynamic than through a family photoshoot with your pet?
3. Their younger years pass by in a jiffy
One of the cutest things about having pets is watching them grow from a young puppy/kitten into the lovable animal you see everyday. Don’t you just melt when you look at pictures of them when they were younger? Where has all that time gone? In the blink of an eye, those playful clumsy little furballs of energy have grown, and you miss hearing the sound of their high-pitched barks and mews, and the pitter-patter of their tiny paws as they run around searching for you. This is the most innocent phase of your pet’s life, and what better way to capture it than through a photoshoot?
4. Capture priceless memories
They say a picture speaks a thousand words, and it also has the ability to elicit a favourite memory. In the times where we’re feeling nostalgic, we resort to flipping through old photos to reminisce. Photos have the innate ability to immortalise a specific moment in time, and every time we look back at it, the happy feelings and memories from that day come flooding back to us. They capture moments of our lives that are important - and thus it is important to document our favourite moments with those that matter to us most.
5. In remembrance of our furry best pals
As unfortunate as it is, our pets will not live as long as we do. A simple photo of them being silly, or giving you their signature pleading look when they want a treat transports you back into that moment in time during their growing years. Taking professional shots with them immortalises your relationship with them in a snapshot, and enables you to remember the happier times after your pet passes away. These memories will undoubtedly bring a smile to your face.
