They say, “a mother is like a flower - each one beautiful and unique”. These important women play such an important role in our lives. From being our personal doctors when we fall sick, to whipping up scrumptious meals to ensure we’re well fed - our beloved mothers take on various roles in their day-to-day lives to take good care of us. They are nothing short of being everyday superheroes, and with Mothers’ Day just around the corner, we wanted to express our gratitude to these incredible individuals, and appreciate all their efforts.

There is no fixed criteria for who a mother should be - mothers can be of all ages. Despite their status, age and experience, motherhood is a selfless, beautiful journey, and these strong individuals deserve to be appreciated everyday, not just on Mothers’ Day.

The moment a child is born, the mother is born...

The journey to be a mother is definitely not an easy one. The nine-month long process is filled with morning sickness, nausea, cravings, tiredness, mood swings and so much more. However, despite all the challenges, the thought of meeting your newborn makes everything worth it.

A fur baby is still a baby...

Having a pet is not too far off from having a baby - it poses its own challenges and comes with a lot of responsibility as well! Fur-mummies are dedicated individuals who shower their fur-kids with tender love and care. The role is nothing short of being an actual mother - to take in another being and to care for them selflessly is what makes them amazing. Kudos to all the fur-mummies and meow-mies for taking excellent care of your fur-kids!

Your love still lives on…

Mothers’ day may not be celebrations and joy for everyone. It might come with painful reminders for some. It hurts losing a child and we don’t want to assume to understand what it’s like. But we still want to make mention of you this day. Mummies with angel babies: it is okay to take time to heal, it is okay not being okay, it is okay to feel… You still love, you’re still brave and you’re strong.
